I really like the top picture here of the indian lady.....very like my own canvases. would look great screenprinted onto colourful patchworked silk (sari fabric?).

right good1 Fab idea to go down the body painting side of things....or could make half garments and ''cover'' the rest of the body in wool patterns straight on the skin.....could also make garments out of sheer fabric/material and do this on top as a design for a dress or someething! Agh myhead is going to explode!

had a great idea to use this weird victorian cuff that i saw as the collar for a dress or top....coupld be cool! Very easily made using crochet......possibles. Could look nice with neutral coloured fabric patchwork too, incorperating the ideas i had from the previous post.

What a friggin, great idea, and an ace way of recycling scrap peices of fabric...kinda going down the same lines as the pretty alexanda mcqueen dress further down. Love how the patchwork ontop shapes the top and makes it almost spill out of the bottom...would be a great idea to use an oversized to underneath to create the pleats. Could undo other peoples patchwork and use that (patchwork quilt) or have a look on ebay too?

costume ideas

Thinking of some costume ideas for the beach party and jungle party on freshers week:

BEACH: diver, leopard shark like lauren's DMT costume, pirate with treasure map....

JUNGLE: jungle jane styleeee- homemade dress out of animal print....or jungle foliage dress like this one by armour sans anguish.....
but with ivy leaves up my arms etc and jungle face paint......green bra, flowers etc. Big flowers in my hair, folliage etc...woooo!
